Bio

I was born and raised on a farm in Idaho, but I was fortunate that I had the ability to travel extensively from a young age, as my father was an airline pilot.  I’ve never lost the bug, and have shot videos in Mexico, Costa Rica and Bolivia as well as in the US.

I spent two years directing and producing my first documentary film, “Overdrawn!”, which was reviewed in Film Threat, featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and a version of which is being distributed by Filmaker’s Library (sic) in New York.

I’ve also published fiction and poetry, had screenplays of mine optioned in Hollywood, and produced and directed theater in Los Angeles.

My newest project is a documentary on urban agriculture.
